Ryan has been an independent animator for the past 10 years, writing and animating his own films. His clay-animated shorts have been screened at the National Gallery Of Art in Washington D.C. and have appeared in over 50 film festivals around the world, winning awards in over half of the competitive festivals. Ryan has also produced 4 short films and segments for HBO and HBO Family, an educational film for Partnership For a Drug Free America, as well as 8 environmental commercials for Vacaville and Rohnert Park. Ryan graduated from the Academy Of Art University in San Francisco, with a Bachelor Of Fine Art in Illustration and studied art and history at the Scuola Lorenzo Di Medici in Florence, Italy. Ryan served as Animation Producer for Tertiary Productions in West Palm Beach, Florida, for a year, where he created and produced the Fox & Calf Series, Pets Who Look Like There Owners and more. He is currently a character designer and illustrator for Mutasia, and has been preparing "Hindenburg: The Musical", which he co-wrote, for the stage.
